The lines are paraphrased from my favorite song, ‘Welcome to the Black Parade’ by My Chemical Romance. It is in memory of my late family members, as well as being a promise to never stagnate while life passes me by, and a thank you to the band for being the reason I am able to pay my tuition and graduate university this year.
The rose is for the Scarlet Carson from V for Vendetta, as the symbol of freedom and rebellion and sort of a ‘f-you’ to homophobia. [More photos, details, and description]
